Welcome to Solegis Health.

My name is Dr Samantha Cabrera, Director and Founder of Solegis Health. I am a GP Specialist (FRACGP) and Accredited Skin Cancer Clinician (SCCA) serving the Hawkesbury and Western Sydney regions in NSW.

I am passionate about my work in the detection, diagnosis, and management of skin cancers. I also firmly believe that proactive healthcare and preventative medicine are foundational to long-term wellness and longevity.

I founded Solegis Health to channel this passion and perspective into a trusted, gold-standard skin cancer screening service for organisations whose teams face higher-than-average sun exposure.

Our mission is to protect your workforce through early detection, empower them with essential sun safety skills, and offer ongoing support through resources, timely reminders, and dependable referrals.

Why do skin checks?

2 in 3 Australians will be diagnosed with some form of skin cancer by the time they are 70 years old.
Non-melanoma skin cancers (BCCs and SCCs) are the most common cancers in Australia (so common they are not individually tracked by cancer registries).
Melanoma is the most common cancer diagnosed in young Australians (age 20 to 39) and is the 3rd most common cancer in Australia.
Early detection saves lives. Early melanoma (in situ) has a 99% survival rate compared to advanced melanoma, which has a survival rate as low as 37%.
Detection and treatment of precancerous lesions and early low risk skin cancers may prevent the need for invasive treatments like surgery.
